Manitoba requires all hooks to be barbless, (barb removed or pinched down till it touches). An annual non-resident Manitoba Conservation License may be purchased for $30 Canadian.

Barbe Lake:  North of The Pas on the Sturgeon Landing Road  (295 miles from Russell)

Vinnie Lake:  Located in the Porcupine Hills, Hwy 83 N to Swan River, Hwy 10 N to intersection with 365, 365 NE past Steeprock Lake campground,  - (150 miles from Russell) (Requires fording a stream on the northeast edge of Steeprock Lake) (Extremely muddy road during wet weather)
